Bled is a Slovenian resort town in the foothills of the Julian Alps and is set along the glacial Lake Bled. It is located in the north of Slovenia. Lake Bled in Slovenia is one of the most beautiful and iconic landmarks in the country. Many landscape photographers flock to Lake Bled, to capture some of the breathtaking scenery. The town of Bled and Lake Bled are the most important and well-visited places in all of Slovenia. In the center of Lake Bled, there is the only island in Slovenia. On that island, there is the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Maria. From Bled, you will hear the church bells ringing over and over again. The sound is visitors making wishes and ringing the bells to have their wishes come true. Our one-hour interactive virtual tour will begin in a fairytale setting. Amazing scenery will surround us for the entire tour, as we take a relaxing and invigorating walk through its wonder. We will be able to see Bled Castle, one of the oldest castles in Slovenia built-in 1004, which is set atop a steep cliff overlooking the pristine Alpine lake. Our tour guide will tell stories about 19th-century wellness therapies, folk art, as well as beekeeping, and discuss centuries-old traditions. We will be engulfed in the high mountains and wild forests surrounding them. Prepare to be overwhelmed with the beauty and romance of this region.
