Join us for a virtual escape to Islay, the "Queen of the Hebrides," a jewel in Scotland's western isles. This windswept island, characterized by its rugged coastlines and often dramatic skies, experiences the full force of the Atlantic weather, creating a unique environment that influences its world-famous whiskies. Despite its small size and population of just 3,000, Islay boasts 10 working distilleries, renowned for their heavily peated flavors. On this 60-minute live virtual walking tour our guide will lead you through the charming town of Bowmore, the island's capital. We'll admire the scenic views of Loch Indaal, see the exterior of Bowmore Distillery, and even peek into the malt room to see the barley. For an authentic experience, grab a whisky to enjoy during the tour—preferably an Islay favorite like Bowmore, Laphroaig, Lagavulin, or Ardbeg.
