Madrid is the central capital of Spain. It is a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks. One of the largest and most beautiful parks in Madrid is Retiro Park. It is a quick escape from the bustle of the city, and features a 19th Century Crystal Palace. Plaza Mayor is one of the grandest open squares in Madrid, featuring 9 entrance ways, 17th-century frescoes, and a 400 year old bronze statue of King Philip III in the middle. This meeting place also hosts many events throughout the year. Madrid is home to a still functioning bullfighting ring, and also an ancient Egyptian temple which was gifted by the Egyptian government as a sign of gratitude for helping preserve other significant historical sights in Egypt. Madrid also has an art triangle with three notable museums, Museo del Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza, and Reina Sofia. Madrid is an eclectic city with something for everyone. Our one hour live, personal, virtual walking tour will be full of pleasant surprises. The architecture in this area is breathtaking and totally unexpected. Including the land in the entire world with the largest number of masterpieces per square foot. We will walk through the Paseo de Prado, where you will find the world renowned "Museo del Prado". Next we will pass by the "Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum", which houses the largest private art collection. Further down the road, we will stroll past "Queen Sofia Arts Center", hosting Picasso's masterpiece painting "Guernika". Come walk the Boulevard and see the architectural beauty of Spain’s Capital City. $66 for each additional screen * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
