Cartagena is a fishing village and port city on Colombia’s Caribbean coast. It is a historic city with a superbly preserved beauty lying within centuries-old colonial stone walls. The Old Town of Cartagena is a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE site. The city is a maze of cobblestone streets, massive churches, beautiful colonial architecture and balconies covered in bougainvillea. During our one hour, live, personal, virtual walking tour, we will begin to explore the Caribbean Coast of Colombia and discover the colonial architecture of the old town which is one of finest examples of preserved colonial architecture in the Americas. We will stroll down the beautiful cobbled alleyways where we will walk past churches, monasteries, squares, palaces and mansions all with their famous overhanging flower filled balconies.
