Diwali is the Festival of Lights and is the biggest Indian Festival. Each year in the months of October & November, the celebrations for Diwali happen in India. Do not miss this Experience where you get a rare chance to virtually participate in the Diwali Festivities. During our one hour live, interactive, virtual tour, we will be welcomed by our guide in a traditional way together with a dance to a Diwali Song. Detailed information on Diwali will be given, including the why, how, when and what of Diwali. Then, we will take a tour of the entire home beautifully decorated for the Diwali Festive Season where we will see traditional lamps, candles, flowers, sweets, crackers, gifts etc. Next, we will see a Rangoli (artwork on the floor using colored sand, rice, flowers and lamps) being made. Then it’s off to the kitchen where delicious Nariyal Ladoos (coconut balls) will be made. The recipe will be shared with everyone. Finally, we will conclude with a traditional Diwali prayer, together with the bell and lamp at a Hindu Temple. This is your tour, the session will be filled with opportunities to ask questions about Diwali, Indian culture and traditions. $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
