Service Description

Greenwich Village has long been the beating heart of New York City's counterculture movements and artistic renaissance. This iconic West Village neighborhood exudes a creative, bohemian spirit that has drawn freethinkers, writers, musicians, and activists for generations. From its winding tree-lined streets and historic brownstones to the iconic locales that catalyzed pivotal social changes, Greenwich Village encapsulates NYC's trailblazing identity. On today's "Village to Hudson River" tour, we'll experience the history, landmarks, and undeniable vibrant energy of this famed area. Our journey begins on Christopher Street, where we'll see the beloved Waverly Diner - a classic Village greasy spoon that's been fueling locals and visitors for over 70 years. Just down the block is the former site of the iconic Oscar Wilde Bookshop, which served as a critical meeting place for the LGBTQ community. We'll continue to two of the most important landmarks – the Stonewall Inn, the symbolic birthplace of the modern LGBTQ rights movement, and the equally famous Julius' bar right across the street. After looping through the lively Sheridan Square, we'll make our way west to the Hudson River greenway and piers for a tranquil waterfront cap to our tour. Get ready to soak in the enduring bohemian spirit, pivotal history, and lively energy that makes Greenwich Village one of New York's most influential and iconic locales. $99 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
