Service Description

Hoi An is a city on Vietnam’s central coast known for its well-preserved Ancient Town. Hoi An is a Unesco World Heritage site and one of the most famous ancient towns in Vietnam. Since the 15th century, Hoi An had been a busy trading port between the Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese and French with the Vietnamese. Hoi An has a melting pot culture and it is all reflected in the unique architecture that fills this eclectic, ancient town. The town architecture is a harmony of all of the cultures who once traded with the locals. It reflects the uniqueness of different lifestyles. We will start the tour in the heart of Ancient Town and walk past one hundred to 300 year old houses to see the daily lives of the local people. We will walk through the Hainan Assembly Hall, a beautiful memorial that is used to worship 108 Chinese merchants, who were mistaken for pirates and killed. Later they were vindicated and named “deities” by King Tu Duc, who granted money to build this assembly hall to worship them forever. We will stroll through Hoi An and talk about the past and present. We will walk at a slow pace and enjoy the architecture. We will cross through the beautiful Japanese covered bridge in Hoi An. This tour promises to enlighten you about Vietnamese culture. $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
