Service Description

La Paz, Bolivia is literally the highest administrative capital in the world, standing at more than 11,500 feet above sea level, it is located in a valley in the Andes Mountains. Due to its extreme height, the air in La Paz is very thin, making it difficult to breathe. The city is known for its famous teleférico (suspended cable cars), which go to the valley from the city and allow travelers to see La Paz from above. Also, the mercado de las brujas (witches’ market), which is very unusual. The market is full of herbal “magic'' that local indigenous people live by. During our live, interactive, personal, one hour tour we will begin our exploration of the beautiful sights from Mirador Killi Killi, a hilltop destination featuring dramatic panoramic views of the city as well as a walk around the scenic gardens. From there we will take a quick ride down the mountainside and stop near the city center. Our guide will share stories and information about the most important buildings in the Plaza Murillo. Plaza Murillo is the central plaza of the city of La Paz and the open space most connected to the political life of Bolivia. We will pass by the Presidential Palace, National Congress of Bolivia, and the Cathedral of La Paz. And, we can experience all of this beauty without worrying about acclimating to the altitude! $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
