Service Description

Located in the Valley of Mexico at an altitude of 7,382 feet (2,250 meters) above sea level, Mexico City is one of the world's largest and most vibrant metropolises. The city enjoys a pleasant, subtropical highland climate, often described as a "mild spring" year-round, with average high temperatures typically in the range of 70-79°F (21-26°C). Deep within this sprawling capital lies Coyoacán, a historic and captivating neighborhood whose Nahuatl name translates to "The Land of Coyotes." This mostly quiet, bohemian district in the southern part of the city retains a distinctive colonial charm, offering a beautiful contrast to the modern pace of life and serving as a cradle for some of Mexico's most important cultural figures. Join us for a relaxing and culturally rich virtual walking tour through the heart of Coyoacán! This is your chance to step into a neighborhood famous for its colonial elegance, peaceful gardens, and storied past. Our journey begins with a stroll along Francisco Sosa Avenue, known for its beautifully preserved cobblestone streets, traditional colonial architecture, and inviting cafes and restaurants, immediately setting the stage for the district's unique, tranquil ambiance. Next, we'll immerse ourselves in the area's central attractions, starting at the Centennial Garden. Here, we'll discover the iconic Fountain of the Coyotes and enjoy the lush greenery that makes this a perfect spot for local relaxation and reflection. Right next door is the Parish of Saint John the Baptist, a charming, historic colonial-era church whose architecture and history make it a significant and beautiful landmark. We'll then explore Hidalgo Square, admiring its beautiful kiosk, gardens, and the local city hall building. For those eager to experience local flavors and arts, the Coyoacán Market is our next destination! We’ll walk through its colorful array of food stalls, handicrafts, and souvenirs, giving you a vibrant glimpse into local Mexican culture. Finally, we will end the tour at the legendary Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as "The Blue House." From the outside, we'll discuss the significance of this former residence of the renowned Mexican painter, how it inspired many of her works, and its transformation into one of Me $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
