Welcome to Viking Valley, Gudvangen in Norway! Gudvangen is located in southwestern Norway in the heart of UNESCO listed Nærøy fjord, where the Nærøydalselvi river empties and is surrounded by towering mountains and beautiful waterfalls. Gudvangen is easily one of the most beautiful locations in Norway. Travel back in time a thousand years to this beautiful Viking village with Vikings Karl and Karin. On our one hour live, personal, interactive, virtual walking tour we will visit the village. The founders of the village have re-created the way of life of the Vikings as it was 1,000 years ago. They have researched to ensure every single detail of daily life is depicted correctly. Karl & Karin will take you through the village and show you the life of the Vikings: how they lived; their travels, handcrafts, roles in society, weapons and how they were used and the gods that they worshiped. The guides will narrate all details of the Vikings’ lives in a friendly and funny way and disperse the myths about the Nordic people you have seen on TV.
