Hong Kong: Avenue of Stars & Film Legends, a PRIVATE TOUR
Service Description
Located on the southern coast of China at the mouth of the Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong sits where Victoria Harbour meets the South China Sea. The city experiences a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers averaging 87°F (31°C) and mild winters around 63°F (17°C). As one of Asia's most dynamic cities and a global center for film, finance, and culture, Hong Kong has produced some of the world's most iconic martial arts stars and cinema legends. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront offers one of the most spectacular urban views on earth, where glittering skyscrapers rise from the harbor and East meets West in a city that never stops moving. Join us for a captivating walk along the Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong, where we celebrate the city's legendary film industry against the backdrop of one of the world's most famous harbors. This 440-meter waterfront promenade is Hong Kong's tribute to its film legends, modeled after the Hollywood Walk of Fame, stretching along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront where handprints, statues, and film industry sculptures line the walkway. The number one stop on our tour is the iconic 2-meter bronze Bruce Lee statue, standing in his classic fighting pose. This martial arts legend transformed global cinema and put Hong Kong film on the world map. We'll explore the plaques mounted on the railings featuring actual handprints and signatures from stars who found success in both Hong Kong and Hollywood, including Jackie Chan, Michelle Yeoh (Oscar winner for Everything Everywhere All at Once), Tony Leung (star of Marvel's Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings), and Chow Yun-fat (Pirates of the Caribbean). Across the water, you'll witness the breathtaking Hong Kong Island skyline, one of the most recognized city views in the world, especially striking during sunset and at night. Our tour concludes at 1881 Heritage, a beautifully restored colonial-era building that was originally the Marine Police Headquarters, now a luxury shopping and dining complex with elegant courtyards and fountains, particularly beautiful when lit up in the evening. Discover Hong Kong where film legends were born and where the skyline takes your breath away. $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
