Jerusalem is the capital city of Israel and is located in Western Asia. It is located between the Mediterranean and Dead Seas. It is one of the oldest cities in the world and is considered a holy city by Armenians, Christians, Jews and Muslims. It is considered the cradle of the Abrahamic faiths. For Jews, Jerusalem and the Temple remain central to traditional Jewish thought and prayer. For Christians, Jerusalem is the place where Jesus preached, died and was resurrected. For Muslims it’s the spot where, according to traditional interpretations of the Koran and other texts, the prophet Muhammad ascended to heaven. On this tour, our guide will take you on a live, interactive, private tour through the streets and quarters of the old city of Jerusalem: from the New Gate of the Christian Quarter to Jaffa Gate and the city's ancient citadel. We will walk past the Armenian alleyways and admire the center of the Jewish quarter and finally we will head to the Western Wall. We can admire the view of the Temple Mount, Al-Aqsa Mosque. We will hear all about the ancient traditions and day-to-day life, window shop, see some local dishes, and finally connect between heaven and earth with a small prayer note.
