We begin at the magnificent Palacio de Bellas Artes, a masterpiece of Art Nouveau and Art Deco architecture, built next t the oldest park in the Americas. As we walk through the bustling streets and contrasting architecture, you'll experience the energy of the city's vibrant cultural district. Our journey continues past Casa de los Azulejos, an 18th-century colonial palace famous for its stunning blue and white hand-painted tiles. This architectural jewel represents Mexico's colonial heritage. Along the way you'll encounter street vendors and authentic Mexico City street food culture, including taco vendors preparing traditional tacos. These vendors embody the entrepreneurial spirit and cultural continuity that define everyday life in the city. Once we get to the Zócalo, Mexico City's main square, you'll see the Metropolitan Cathedral, an architectural marvel that took nearly 250 years to complete, blending Spanish colonial and indigenous influences. Here, you will view the City Hall Palace and National Palace, the official office and residence of Mexico's president. Standing in this historic plaza, you'll feel the pulse of of Mexican history and power that radiates from these iconic landmarks.
