Service Description

Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States located along the Potomac River on the East Coast. With its iconic landmarks and monuments, the National Mall is a national park at the heart of the city. The city has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. is the only Black person to have a memorial on the National Mall in Washington D.C.! King is best known for his I Have a Dream speech at the Lincoln Memorial along with his tireless activism during the Civil Rights Movement. This tour will start at the Lincoln Memorial, where King is memorialized and we will make our way to the MLK Jr. Memorial. The National Mall has been the location of numerous events in Black history that we will touch on. This is a great tour to learn about the legacy of King and the history of Black people in America, as it relates to the National Mall. This is a tour that no American should miss! $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
