An Amazing VETERAN's DAY TOUR!! Seeing the Washington Monument rise majestically to the sky, surrounded by the U.S. Capitol Building at one end and the Lincoln Memorial at the other, it’s hard not to think of America’s history. Explore the National Mall, nicknamed “America’s front yard” and you’ll find inspiring monuments, memorials and museums. The monuments and memorials in this park honor American forefathers and heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service to this country. From the “I Have a Dream” speech to the AIDS Quilt, the Mall is the national stage where movements and celebrations take place, where people gather to have their voices heard. Our one hour Live, interactive, virtual tour will begin at the Vietnam War Memorial, where our guide will show us how the wall is coded and share a story or two. From there we will stroll south to the Korean War Memorial, and experience its highlights. Finally we will head to the Lincoln Memorial, and enjoy a wonderful vantage point of the Reflecting Pool.
