In preparation for Saint Patrick's Day, our guide will take you through town as they prepare for the Saint Patrick's Festival. Discover the charming medieval city of Kilkenny on our virtual tour! Known as the "Marble City," Kilkenny boasts a rich history dating back to the 12th century. This 1-hour tour begins on the grounds of the majestic Kilkenny Castle. It is an Anglo-Norman structure overlooking the city of Kilkenny. The castle is one of the highlights of medieval Ireland's Ancient East. Our tour will take you through the winding streets of the city center, where you'll see the impressive St. Canice's Cathedral. Along the way, you'll learn about the city's rich cultural heritage and hear stories of its famous residents. Join us on this virtual journey through one of Ireland's most picturesque towns! The sublime city of Kilkenny has retained much of its original charm. Here we will see old medieval houses and paved streets. They share stories of Christian scholars who founded the most famous St. Canice Cathedral. We will stroll through the old Irish town and discover the quaint little Abbey where monks began to brew one of Ireland's most popular red ale - Smithwicks, where they have been brewing beer for over 300 years. A tale of knights and Butlers is also wrapped into this fascinating tour.
