Service Description

Washington, D.C. is the capital of the United States located along the Potomac River on the East Coast. With its iconic landmarks and monuments, the National Mall is a national park at the heart of the city. The city has a humid subtropical climate with hot, humid summers and mild winters. Off to the side of the National Mall is the Tidal Basin, featuring the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial. On this tour, explore the history and achievements of these men that memorialized them in the Nation's Capital! The cherry blossom trees, one of D.C.'s most famous attractions, line the Tidal Basin (in bloom in early April) are featured on this tour and are part of the history of this area. These memorials all focus on rights of the American people; Jefferson, one of the founding fathers proclaimed that all men were created equal, FDR preserved the nation during WWII and created social programs to ensure the quality of life for Americans, and MLK Jr. was a civil rights activist who fought for the rights of Black Americans. Join us on this tour to learn more about these three men and their place in history! This is a tour that no American should miss! $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
