Service Description

Tokyo is the capital of Japan, with a population of thirteen million people. It’s the center of business, technology, entertainment, and culture. This modern mega-city is full of energy and excitement. Since ancient times, Japan has been in awe of the power of nature and revered nature on which it depends for all of its survival. In Shinto, an indigenous Japanese religion, deities are believed to live in all natural things and are ruled by their power. Mt. Fuji, which has caused significant eruptions in the past and caused great suffering, is also believed to be inhabited by a goddess, and explosions are considered to be the wrath of the goddess. Echoing Earth Day events around the world, events are also held throughout Japan, and here in Tokyo, many people gather to celebrate. On this 60-minute tour, the guide walks in the Shibuya area of Tokyo, where the famous Scramble Crossing is located, and talks about the Earth Day events in Japan and how people are making daily efforts to protect the environment, such as recycling and energy-saving. The guide may also share certain pictures or video recordings showing some of the events happening in Tokyo during that week. During this walk, the guide will also discuss Japanese culture and the Shinto religion, which are deeply connected to nature. $79 for each additional screen (does not apply to corporate customers.) * This tour is not designed for our corporate customers.
