Venice is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto region. It is situated on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Venice is recognized as part of the artistic and architectural patrimony of all humanity. This tour is available during both day time, and evening time. There’s a special magic atmosphere walking the little alleyways, illuminated by the rare lamps, or watching the lights reflected in the canal waters. Venice is always fascinating, but when the sun goes down, there is a mix of romance and mystery that will bring you into a timeless dimension. The light mirroring over the water on the canals, the sound of a step in the deserted alley, the palaces that stand out in the middle of the dark, offer a completely new experience, much different than what you can have during the day, when the streets are crowded. Strolling along the Grand Canal and wandering its tiny streets until we reach what Napoleon called the "drawing room" of Europe, St. Mark's Square, with its wonderful Basilica, the clocktower, the bell tower, the "owner of the house" as Venetians call it, and the imposing Palazzo Ducale.
