Venice is a city in northeastern Italy and the capital of the Veneto region. It is situated on a group of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by over 400 bridges. It is a totally unique city, with miles of canals, tiny alleys and tons of history. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Venice is recognized as part of the artistic and architectural patrimony of all humanity. Venice is a unique and amazing city, renowned all over the world. Many people only visit the most famous places in the city, like St. Mark Square or Doge’s Palace. It’s true, they are amazing, but there is so much more to experience. Discover the Venice that many do not see, when our guide takes you on a personal, private walking tour, where we will go “off the beaten path” with a real Venetian guide. We will stroll with our guide through the districts of San Polo and Dorsoduro. During our tour, we will find out why Venice is famous for its masks. We will see where gondolas are made or where the biggest oil on canvas in the world is kept. We will finish our unrepeatable tour on the Grand Canal, in front of one of the most iconic views of the city.
