Famous Director, Alfred Hitchcock, during a visit to Zadar, said that the sunset in Zadar is the most beautiful in the world! On this tour we will follow as the sun wishes us a fond farewell with the beautiful warm colors that it leaves as a trace of the passing day. Along the way we will see some of Zadar's beauties as we watch the sun go to rest. During our one hour live, personal, interactive, virtual walking tour we will begin on the dock where you will be able to see the old building of the former Maraska factory. One of the most famous Zadar brands was produced here - liqueur Maraschino, which, they say, even the famous Casanova could not resist. Right on the dock is the port of Zadar's barquillos (in Croatian language - barkajoli), which have been another symbol of Zadar for more than 600 years. From early morning to late evening, the barkajoli take passengers and tourists in a little row boat across the Zadar peninsula to the mainland and back. With a short cruise, in all weather conditions, they transfer their fellow citizens and tourists from one part of the city harbor to the old part of the city, right under the City Walls protected by UNESCO since 2017. Let’s go for a ride! After a short boat ride, we will walk along the coast enjoying the colors that the sun leaves as a trace in the sky. The tour will conclude at the newest installation Sea Organs and Greeting to the Sun - the place of the perfect connection of nature and architecture.
