Maybe this is odd, but whenever I see videos from another country I always end up paying attention to the grocery stores....
Forget the famous buildings. I want to know what kind of cereal they have, what people buy for dinner, and why the eggs are sitting on a shelf instead of in a refrigerator.
Anyone else more interested in the ordinary stuff?
Iโve been thinking about this latelyโฆ has anyone else found that the way they want to travel has changed as theyโve gotten older?
I used to want to fit as much as possible into every day. Now I think Iโd rather stay somewhere longer, have a slow breakfast, walk around, and actually get to know the place.
Part of me wonders if Iโve just gotten less adventurous ๐ Anyone else?
Not supposedly, when I started ageing too I started to take this a lot slower with less people.
The vigor I had when I was young is a lot different than it is today.
I recently stumbled upon this Tiktok video where someone's navigating through Google maps to "visit" the place.
I remember the first actual virtual tour that I joined is pretty much like that. The only difference is that someone is actually walking around and guiding me in the area as I watch from my living room.
Has anybody tried joining virtual tours before? How did you feel about it?
I was talking to my daughter yesterday about an upcoming trip and she thinks Iโm ridiculous because I want to be at the airport 3 hours early ๐
I know Iโll probably spend half that time sitting around with a coffee, but I just cannot relax at home knowing I have a flight later.
